Springtime Asparagus and Rapini

This was the type of dish that was a true joy to eat! ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ’•๐ŸŒธ Adding edible flowers has made eating a meal feel like absorbing art. They also add a very slight, sweet, lettuce taste. I highly recommend buying some if you see them at your local farmers market! ๐ŸŒธ This absolutely DELICIOUS rapini is from @rodgersgreensandroots and the asparagus are from @freshharvest ๐ŸŒฟ I lightly massaged them with olive oil, sprinkled them with salt & pepper, and cooked them at 425 for 15-20 minutes. Massaging the veggies makes sure that all the leaves are lightly coated, and will get a nice crisp. It also makes sure you add the most important ingredients to your food: gratitude and love! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿฅฐ The dressing is one large shallot diced, juice from 1/2 lemon, and 3 Tbsp walnut oil. So simple and so fresh! I ate the whole pan for lunch ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’š
